For an excellent baking result, the dry ingredients are best sifted finely beforehand to make the dough fluffier. Simply fill the hand sifter with flour and crank the wooden handle on the side. The fine mesh sieve will easily sift out any lumps. You can also use the sifter to flour the work surface or to garnish the baked goods with powdered sugar or cocoa powder. Use the sieve to dust fresh waffles and cakes particularly evenly. For longer shelf life, do not fill the sieve completely but gradually with flour.
