The purpose of the Sump Hose in your washing machine is to prevent smells and steam coming back into the soap drawer. If your existing hose is blocked due to low water pressure the detergent is not washed away fast enough into the drum you notice leaks underneath your washing machine or you find irregularities in the water flow then your machine’s sump hose may require replacing.
