These special castor wheels are the ideal complement to your new office chair and are perfect for your hard floors. The specially-coated running surfaces protect your high-quality hard floors from scratches and dents that conventional carpet castor wheels can cause. Changing the castor wheels is easy - the old castor wheels can be removed with very little effort. All you have to do is attach the new castor wheels and you're done! These high-quality, double castors for hard floors are also braked for safety so that the chair only rolls when there is enough weight on it. When you stand up, the castor wheel's brakes are applied, preventing it from rolling away unintentionally. Then, when a weight is applied, the castor wheels open and the chair rolls again. Made in Germany, the castor wheel treads are coated with polyurethane. The castor wheel requires assembly. The assembly consists of just a few simple steps, with no assembly required for the gas springs, castors or a footrest, etc.
